Dr. Marisa Wolff is a board certified dermatologist who specializes in adult and pediatric dermatology. In addition to medical dermatology, she performs dermatologic surgery for skin cancers and cysts, and cosmetic surgery including injectable neuromodulators and fillers.
Dr. Wolff spent the last few years in private practice in New York City, and is thrilled to have returned home with her family and to be a dermatologist for the extended Capital Region community.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Psychology from Syracuse University. She completed her medical training at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York, where she graduated amongst the top percentile of her class and was a member of the Psi Sigma Alpha National Osteopathic Scholastic Honor Society. Dr. Wolff had medical internship training at Largo Medical Center in Florida, and then went on to complete her dermatology training at Saint Barnabas Hospital in New York City, where she served as Chief Resident.

During dermatology residency, Dr. Wolff was recognized both nationally and within the Tri-state area for diagnostic accuracy using dermoscopy for the detection of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers. She has received multiple academic awards, including the A.P. Ullrich Research Award for her work in the study of verruca vulgaris therapy, and the Koprince Award for her lecture at the 2015 annual American Osteopathic College of Dermatology conference on pediatric pigmented lesions.
Dr. Wolff has been published in several peer reviewed journals, has lectured at professional conferences. She has had a longstanding passion for dermatology, and prior to her formal medical training she performed cosmeceutical research in Germany in addition to melanoma research at Albany Medical Center.
Dr. Wolff is on staff at Saratoga Hospital. She is currently active as an educator and writer for The Clinical Advisor, Dermatology division. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, The Dermatology Society of Greater New York, The New York Academy of Medicine, and the Capital District Dermatology Society at Albany Medical Center..
